Asia Rawls

Asia Rawls has over 20+ years of running experience and has been a Division 1 Track and field coach for over 6 years. While coaching at the University of Detroit Mercy Asia was able to develop athletes into individual Horizon League Champions. In high school Asia was a four-time regional & state qualifier and ranked nationally in Greensboro, NC; earning two records. As a collegiate runner, Asia served as the captain of the track team and led them to an American Conference Championship. She earned first team All-MAC accolades four times, became a two-time Conference Champion, and ran the second-fastest 400m hurdle time in EMU history, while dominating two college records. Ultimately in 2012, Asia became recognized as an NCAA All-American at Des Moines, Iowa. In 2015 she became USA Track and Field Certified.
