David was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He’s a real estate investor and part owner of DET Cleaning Solutions a commercial facility maintenance company. David got his initial running experience when he ran cross-country in high school but didn’t develop a love for running. Since then, he connected with the WERUN313 family and found a passion for running. His goal now is to use his newfound passion to motivate others in the Detroit community to start running, not only for its physical benefits but more importantly, mental fitness.
